The long drive in a Week day

Talk about spontaneity, and here I am. Today started like any other working day, with a list of tasks and deadlines looming over me like a storm cloud. But little did I know, in the middle of all these I will actually go on vacation mode. Picture this, I'm knee-deep in work and out of the blue you get a ring to go somewhere out of the city. Now, I admit, my first instinct was to say no. I mean, I had deadlines to meet and a to-do list longer than my arm. But then I thought, why not? Life's too short to pass up on a little adventure, right? So there we were, cruising down the highway with the wind in our hair away from the city life. As we hit the road, the scorching heat from the sun was little too much but then out of nowhere, clouds gather on the horizon, and before we know it, the rain pours down hitting our vision with a relief. Seems, someone up there had planned this getaway a little too perfect.

Now, Sing with me to our own version of lyrics

"Off we went with no plans in sight,

Chasing the day, and embracing the night.

Windows down, wind in our hair,

Leaving behind all worldly care.

The open road, our canvas wide,

With laughter as our faithful guide.

No maps to follow, no path set in stone,

Just dilly-dallying, on our own.

Stopping for snacks, and tunes turned loud,

In each other's company, we felt proud.

For in those hours of dilly-dallying bliss,

We found the magic we often miss.

A break from routine, a chance to roam,

And make memories to call our own"
